I am seasoned legionnaire with 26k spare honour points, because I've started thinking whether I should use honour points to increase fame or to buy equipment with them, which is best for getting better in PvP?

I would keep on levelling up fame level until you totally give up on pvp

buying equip is seriously a waste especially when you are just a seasoned legionnaire.

The fame tree offers lots of perks for pvp and pve play, until it tops out at level 40. It's not easy to divine the future in DSO, but many seasoned veterans are stockpiling honor points, thinking that eventually the fame tree will have more levels to go with the new character levels.
Some people regret using the points to purchase items. The purchases with honor points can be temporarily useful, but don't match uniques, crafted legendaries, or some of the new drops.

I used some honor points to finish up a level 40 legendary duria sword back in the day, (think i bought a blue to complete the crafting) but it made more sense then (i think 1h maces topped at 36 and 1h axes at 38, and everything costed COTs to identify). I was still conserving cots and fighting with a 5 socket white sword at the time, and nothaving much luck finding those level 40 swords or winning in pvp. The resulting level 40 legendary more than made the lost honor points back.

Now, its pretty easy to just find and use any semidecent extraordinary until you find a suitable legendary.

So i'm getting a general concensus of "don't bother with equipment, level up the fame tree" Side note, where can i farm for glyphs of power? i have managed to upgrade my spider silk bow to level 30 by melting some uniques i got in previous events that were useless and i want to level it up more, because it is pretty good right now, since i'm level 28 and i have a load of rubies and a sapphire in it

EDIT: I have found that farming heredur is quick and the shield can bemelted for 4k glyphs each time, but since it is a rare drop i don't find it often and it is time consuming

All enchanted items (green, blue, pink, orange) can be melted for glyphs similar and in the same places as the uniques. The bottom of the item lists its glyph value if melted, but they follow a similar track based on level of item and level of enchantment.

Generally, the higher the level of the map, the more glyphs from the gear in that map. If you can speed farm solo, or have a very efficient team or guild group, you can bring home more glyphs, too. Some areas favor different character types, so there is a lot of personal variation.
