HP or Armor

I have two hats of the same level.

Hat 1: +325 armor
Hat 2: +171 armor, +113 HP

My current HP is 1647, and armor is 1636 without either of the hats. I am level 37.

I feel like I don't have enough HP, but at the same time, I think I lack armor also. Which comes first? HP or armor?

I'd be more inclined to go for the second hat, since Hp is generally more valuable when farming and levelling up to 40-45.
No doubt you'll find a better one pretty soon as you level up and get into the better maps, so nothing to lose sleep over :]

 

I'd agree with lewcar, but with one question. Slots... Equal, or does one have more than the other?

 

Hat 2 has three slots while Hat 1 has two slots. I'm also curious. What is average HP and armor for level 37?

 

Even better! #2 for sure. As per "average," there is no such thing. There are SW builds that use a book and wand and have lower armor, or there are those who have nothing but defensive stats on their rings, belt, and amulet... It is all unique. It isn't until you start to approach endgame that these things start working towards and "average" but even then, there is still variety based on play style.

 

Whats your character class?
If its a spellweaver then your hp is low but armor is ok.

I look at hp and armor as equals. I have to do testing on this but with 3k armor and 2k hp the % defence different means the 2k hp will last. And with the reverse 3k hp and 2k armor the % defence means each hit takes off more of your hp.

There are some that point out that the higher hp will give you more per hp sphere but please not not all zones have these.

So with that in mind the first hat for me is better. 171 + 113 is 284 and less than 325.

 

Much depends on ur play style (book or orb), u should boost both stats but hat no. 2 is better at this point.
