Building my ranger and What gems to use

Hey im lvl 30 and want to know your input on building my ranger nd what are the best ges to use. Also, where can i farm gems and find good equipment

 

Well for gems attack gems are going to be the ones you want to find. Gems are random so always keep the ones you find. I personal you sell the onyx but I would not suggest that everyone do that. Where you put the gems I can make suggestions about.

Farm a bow extraordinary if you plan on exping higher and if you plan on staying 30 for a very long time then legendary. Everyone finds gems in different places so where to farm them would be taken with a grain of salt. Parallel World quests are said to have a higher drop rate so that is the only official answer there is about gems.

Make sure your bow has % increase damage and add ruby gems to it. sapphire gems in you arrows.

The game is built around a model of slow steady marginal improvement. A level here a gem there. A new skill here, a better piece of equipment there. Things build up over time and the more you do something the better you become at it. The one truth that cannot be avoided is the fact that you kill things to get better. Kill, kill, and kill some more. All those kills get you the gems, supplies and levels to get better at killing, which lets you kill bigger meaner things, participate in events, and tackle boss's that drop better gear that makes you better at killing. Rince, repeat, and kill some more.

When you decide to start PVPing, the levels you gain at PVP are the most important factor in being good at it, although there is an element of skill that makes you better, it is mostly about doing it till you gain enough levels to be on even footing with others that have done it. And guess what....you get those by killing, over and over and over......

 

All good information, however, as a ranger and a decent one. I wish someone had told me... You will get lots or armor and HP from gear, so for gems go for maybe 40-50% of them as diamonds for resist. In pvp, mages will waste even high hp and armor with fire, and in pve Mortis and Khalys will do the same. The higher your resistance, the better. As for weapon, focus on speed.... damage will come.
