Weapon Decoration - Help Me Decide

So I have these 4 weapon decorations (lets call them 1, 2, 3 and 4) but I'm not sure which one would benefit me most. Obviously #1 is the one I'm using at the moment.
I'm leaning towards #2 because if I upgrade it to lvl 45/46 it would give me 500 - 600 crit.

I think you already have enough crit. rate in comparison to your dmg.
So I would rather go for the dmg ones.

 

No that isn't enough crit. You need at least 2k crit rate.
I would go for second or third...and a lot of glyphs in them

 

Thanks for your replies. Well I tried out the 3rd one for a bit, transferred all my sapphires across but I still prefer the extra bit of damage I get from the 1st one and crit dmg tends to be a bit higher too, even with the 9,5% of #3. I shifted some gear around which now gives me slightly less damage but higher crit rate which turned out to be a better compromise. I'll keep 2 and 3 in storage for now until I find a better weapon or a better decoration...

 

Everyone here must not like you because none of them suggested that you plug in your numbers into http://dsopage.bplaced.net/ or http://drakensang.optimizer.free.fr/ to see what your DPS would look like in all 4 cases. While DPS numbers that are close (Say 10-40 DPS) can be decided by personal preference (damage>CD% or CR>damage, that sort of thing), these tools give you a mathematical absolute of which set up will statistically give more damage over time.

 

Tools that tell you what your damage would be??? Witchcraft I say, witchcraft!

 

Thanks for your help but now even the DPI calculator doesn't seem to like me cos it ain't working. Do I need to have some other program installed in order for it to work? Like Excel or something?

Only one think I hate about the calculators it does not factor in the other damage you'll deal with Lighting strike or other products that rely on pure damage.

 

I recently found this beauty and it replaced my old faithful low level legendary that had 221 crit and 57 damage (At LVL 40).

Awesome find. I have something similar... well, I will have once I upgrade it to lvl48, it will give me just 3 less crit hit value than yours (622 crit). But I do prefer your 22 dmg rather than my 8,4% crit dmg.


In the meantime I picked up this one; not too shabby I reckon, seeing as it also came with 4 slots originally.
