Do you use these at all? And if so, when???

I guess that assigning a skill button to potions leaves us short at higher levels.

In fact, and maybe that belogns to a completely different topic, the game design could use either a widening of the skill strip by one or 2 spots, or a side-column. A whole year has disappeared while the issue of Knowledge Tree expansion gets discussed, and nothing happened. These would be valid / useful additions, and grant us SPACE to use potions.

I also favor instant pet / instant mount (in town) and 75% shorter summoning of same in dungeons.

    Cheers

I never use them, I sell them in town (or dispose of them before reaching town when I pick up better loot).

There are situations, some already stated here where you do not need or cannot use all of your skills. So I do save them.

But I rarely use them. Only if the stack gets to close to max because I do not want two slots of them in inventory. Generally, the same situations where I could put them on a hotkey I am in a group where all I need is skillful management of my concentration.

Howerver, on low level characters where you can actually wind up with more hotkey slots than skills they can be quite useful. But that is short lived.

I consider their usefulness in the game minimal. More of a relic from the way the game was quite some time ago. To me it all comes down to whether I have the inventory space to hoard them when they drop.

    Luck be with ye,

I believe I mentioned elsewhere the intelligence of ADDING / EXPANDING the skill button interface, or having a semi-transparent side bar to add skills and hot buttons.

Also merges well with a lvl 35 Knowledge Tree skill

Unlike potions of rage - which I use when my stack goes above 90 b/c, like MikeyMetro, I don't want 2 stacks (I use them in 5v5 when I have the flag at my base and am about to be assaulted by multiple enemies; or in attacking in 6v6 when I'm about to get to the target structure(s); or defending in 6v6 when someone is about to get by me and assault the target structure(s)) - potions of concentration, and to some degree steam/mana, are of more limited use as previously stated. It's different for a DK since our rage needs to be filled, rather than filling-over-time like the other three classes.

I have my keys re-mapped so I can open the inventory very easily, so hunting for the key to get to a rage/healing potion is not an issue. I don't use the in-game key remapping b/c, as usual, in their infinite wisdom the dev team messed it up by not allowing ctrl and shift keys to be remapped.

Maybe this was a little off-topic, just a comparison.

No i never use them, seeing at our concntration/mana/rage goes up really fast there is no point in them now, the ranger and DK has a spell that boosts your speed and fills up your concentration/rage again so... never need it when i have that.

Never used them. Concentration fills up fast enough, especially if I finish an attack with the Deadly Blow. Zip. Filled.
