As in title. Correct me if im wrong, but it seems that armor break does not remove block chance/strength. No wonder everyone in PVP is runnig 80% block and 3 block strength. Matches (i play 3v3 mostly) are overly long, mainly because of the block issue. regardless whether you break their armor, you still hit them for low damage.

    Can we correct this?

    Thanks.

Why? Its armor break, not block break. You need to explain your reasoning a bit more.

everyone's dmg is way too high in arena anyway so why complain about some block issue? You have like 500 dmg or something? Most players get killed in 1-2 shots when they are in vortex, nowadays. Just work to increase your dmg, crit and crit dmg and it won't matter if they block or not.

This is not the case. Actually i have tons of dmg, even people are whispering me 'what is your dmg' from time to time. I kill most players in one hit.

However, when they have block, i need 6-7 hits before they go down. Just tells you how much of a factor the block is, in the calculation. A lot of people i know want the break/shatter to affect the block as well.

I don't see a problem. The players with block are trading offense for defense. This is working as it should.

I understand. But many people already complain that they get killed in 1-2 shots even though they are in full tank mode and use shield with 80% block. It's good that sometimes you can't kill instantly because that's what the shield should do. It should bring a little balance to this whole insane dmg mitigation. If the armor break negated the block too, then that would be too much I think, but who am I to say... let the devs figure it out for themselves and take what decisions they think are the best.

The people that resist so much, even in vortex, are probably setup to do very low dmg anyway, so like novadude said, it's balanced.

The effective health using max armor: 3 hits dead.
The effective health using max block instead of max armor: 8 - 10 hits dead.

And the armor can be shredded. The block is not. This is not acceptable. Its the same way you only had 100 resist lines on enchantments, it was just unfair.

It will be nerfed, eventually. A lot of people disagreed, or even verbally abused me on forum when I pointed out 4-second stun immunity is unbalanced and it should be removed. They did remove it, obviously.

I am also right on this one. they will nerf the block, at least for pvp purposes, one way or another.

    Cheers,

    Elve.

I think the designers are more likely to move in the direction of more armor/resist/hp or in the direction of less damage in pvp than in the direction you're advocating. Or even weaken armor break in pvp.
