Just For Fun, "CM Thread Game"

I can't be the only one that notices, but the CMs go long times between saying anything on their "Ask the CM" thread/threads.

Just for fun, post your "bet," "estimate," "SWAG," or even "The answer you got from a Ouija board" on when they will next stick their head in. You can be as specific as you want, or as vague as you want; as serious or as comedic as you want. You can even guess if it will be a "Yes we are still reading" but with nothing useful, a "Here is why everything is awesome" brainwashing propaganda piece, or even if it will be information that we actually care about.

We'll even award made up points that don't matter for the closest guess after each time that the CM's finally show up in their highly absent and poorly named thread... for bonus points, you can even try to guess when Greg might come back... especially in those poor non-EN threads that have just been abandoned.

I'll start...
My SWAG:
Haruki comes back early this week with a "We still care" post, and later this week she comes back and actually answers some questions, but somehow manages to carefully avoid providing us any useful information, insight, or even an admission of BP's inability to adequately recognize the player's priorities.

The Ouija Board:
"Greg comes back after he finally exhausts his seemingly endless supply of silver essence"... Given how out of touch the CMs are with the game, I assume that they must not play much and I interpret this answer to mean "Never."
The Ouija Board also told me that the signs are good that Haruki uses her trademarked
"¯\_(ツ)_/¯" or makes some reference to "peanuts"
sometime in that useless post that I mentioned in the SWAG above.

Here is my SWAG. Haruki will show up on Tue, saying ' stay tuned, will be here tomorrow'.
Then she will actually drop 5 answers on Wed, promising to return the next day. But will never show up again until another week.

One of the answers will be how the upcoming release already tackles one of the issues asked about. Another will point out to upcoming event, and how beautiful it would be addressing some of the feedback (in reality none). Will also say that there are few meetings planned on this and that. And she will say she loves the wings)

 

Now that new releases are scheduled for every 3 weeks, real news should appear about every 3 weeks as well. Fluff will pad the empty spaces.

Greg is allergic to peanuts. Haruki makes him itch all over and puff up, so he's taken a permanent leave of absence. A stunt double does the Twitch casts for him.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯ has been banned from use. The Urban Dictionary of Computer Slang describes it as robot pornography. (Just try not to get your imagination all bent out of shape on this one!)

My imagination is running with this.

 

Well, since the thread has not been closed, lets post some points that are totally made up and don't mean anything.

I got 5 points for guessing that we'd get one of the big posts by the end of the week, but I lost 3 for being wrong about getting the little one near the beginning of the week. But I gained 1 more for being right about her mentioning "peanuts." This leave me at 3 points.

I'm sorry, you actually started off with negative points. You guessed the day you were wrong... you guessed that she would promise to return the next day, but she was up front that she wouldn't return until the next Monday (today) and she did. But then you predicted some of the things she would talk about (especially if we include today's post). We'll put you squarely back at 0 points.

You get 10 points simply for being so out there and shocking. I cracked up laughing, especially when I read the posts based off of yours.

The others were unrelated enough that they don't get any points.

Now, SWAG:
She said "read you tomorrow" not "reply to you tomorrow," so I'm betting we don't see her for a couple of days and then she implies that it was a busy couple of days due to the boatload of bugs in R161 and the event. Greg continues to not show up because he still has silver essence.

If I could buy you a beer, I would Baragain. Your sarcasm is spot on and keeps me entertained. As far as her posts go, I don't remember them verbatim, but the last two seem eerily similar.

Next post will be more half answers about community wanted features that have been pushed back because of more pertinent issues/features that need implementing. The other half of her post will be an awkward attempt at lighthearted banter to combat the negative posts that try to use comedic relief to express themselves.

 

That is just another conspiracy theory that never happened. In fact this whole fabrication of the story is leading back to Bentwaters Incident ... which of course "never happened"... and this extremely sophisticated gaming technique remains hidden from the public. BP and BP's officials are always denying and covering up the existence of the exotic technologies and other sophisticated gaming techniques used by their employees ... and the people speaking about their existence ... publicly ... has been put to ridicule and shame.
Even though ... the evidence is there.
Haruki's Peanut Thrower is just one of the many examples. It is clearly that this highly sophisticated weapon is of extraterrestrial origin.

Like Darwarren, I'm not sure what to say... that was brilliant, but there was no clever witty replies generated by it at this time, so I can only give you 5 points.

so I'll give myself another 3 points.

Next SWAG:
She'll be back one more time this week and it will be a big one. And, just like every other time, most of it will be either useless or propaganda.

 

I think she'll come on shortly after the twitch bragging about all the so called good things coming in 162.

Of course there will be no specific answers to anything important. There should be an apology or two about all the bugs released recently and the promise that they are hard at work to fix it.

We are also over due for the "we're listening", so that should make it into the next appearance.

 

I think there will also be a mention of poking the developers/or some department with a sharp stick, although that might be reserved for the twitch
