Cyanite Shield

I'm curious as to how other SW players see/use the Cyanite Shield.

When my HP was lower, I found it useful, mostly in that it acted as a visual warning that I'd better run away or die. Sometimes I've been able to use those precious 5 seconds to fight back and survive, but mostly, it's been a good indicator for when I need to break off and catch my virtual breath.

Lately, as my damage and HP have gotten higher, I find the cyanite shield doesn't activate as often, meaning of course I'm getting the job done (killing monsters) before my HP falls too low.

I'm thinking: Man I'd love to free up those 10 Wisdom points for other uses ... but I find I'm missing the psychological security of having the Shield, *just in case*.

What say ye, fellow mages? C-Shield good, or use those 10 points elsewhere? Currently, I'm seeing how 10% more HP serves my purposes.

 

I have stopped using Cyanite Shield, since it got cooldown and that's why I use mana crystal now. By the way... the life gained by these 10 points is not 10%, it's 30% !!!

 

My bad. I didn't mean the Wisdom gain. I meant that my actual HP statistic increased by about 10% (like a pet % increase). Also, I didn't use all them shield points on HP ... .

 

I don't use it anymore. The new Noob designers have over-written what the old Noob designers created. Someone's golden love child is everyone else's illegitimate dirt bag.
It may be useful in another year or so, when the designers come first circle, back to where they started.

 

Although I don't play a SW, I'm finding these various low hp 10 point wisdom talents to be useless.

Such a shame, because they were nice rewards in the past for continuous pvping and encouraged participation after all quests were done.

 

I no longer use Cyanite Shield. It's pointless when you can put a lure on your guardian to keep yourself safe.

I put my 10 points into additional mana.

 

Cyanite Shield is like broadcasting "I'm almost dead so continue pounding away on me"

 

I love the taunt talent so much, I'm no longer envious of the ranger's healing wolf pack.

Same here. Mighty Guardian talent to keep him as a target when health is low, and 10 points spent in Mana Crystal to increase
both mana pool AND mana recharge rate.

And ofc another 10 points in Behemot talent .
