Constant Lag and Rubberbanding on Agathon server

I am experiencing severe rubberbanding and lag on the Agathon server. This has been going on for several days. Most of the time, the enemies don't take damage correctly either.

My internet is running fine, I can log in no problem, but cannot play because of this. Anyone else having this issue?

Same...its been a while now about 2-3 weeks i guess...I try to ping my server tegan and get around 700-1000ping on peak lag... when its normal it goes below 300... i used to play below 150 ping... i tried to ping other server's and i only get a 100-200 ping range... my internet is fine too i can play other games but this lag on tegan is unbearable..

 

I've been experiencing something similar, but in Tegan, my average ping is ~80ms, yet since the last hotfix (No. 5 for R161), I've been experiencing lag peaks that doesn't seem to have anything to do with my conection nor my machine, I get that type of lag that "throws you around", which I ignore if falls into the same category as rubberbanding, at least at a 1-2 episodes per hour rate, fortunately, they're short enough for not completely crushing my gameplay (~5-10 seconds each).

Still, strikes me as odd since I clearly noticed this started happening to me since the mentioned hotfix, I guess I'll wait for R162 to hit and follow some performance-improving measures suggested around these forums and come back with the results.

 

In case you are using wireless network ... try cable (if possible) ... it is a game changer.

 

Use wired they will boost Ping Drastically. but may not increase browsing speed.

 

What I said in the previous post is based on facts and experience (personal experience too).
I was using wireless connection on my PC few years ago (I knew all the wireless disadvantages ... but I didn't thought it would be that severe) ... I couldn't finish the second defend event (Werian Sanctuary) ... I was having lags in the arena ... etc. My router is in the next room and I used wireless connection just because I didn't want to make a mess with those cables. I could download everything at highest rate (torrents, files, ... etc) ... but real time apps are working in different way.
Then I bought cable ... and my lag ended instantly.
My friend Snopsis was having same issues until recently ... then he took my advise and started using cable (he is using laptop). The next day he said ... "dude I am playing a different game now" XD ... no lags no rubberbanding at all.

 

I'm glad I'm not the only one having issues. I reall wish they'd fix it.

That is good ... I was just pointing out one possibility.
What PC configuration are you having?
Do you play with all visual settings set to high/on?

BTW ... I am not saying it is on your end just trying to help (if possible).
