    Well, my popcorns are over.

It was fun to follow this topic but its time for me to move away, i have my new two-days-ago-started-game to play.

I dont believe they will do a rollback, they are selling anders, they are selling the new green lizzard mount, they are letting players to play like nothing has happened..

For me, this means a rollback is out of their plans, so this leave only two options, a massive ban or do nothing.
If they do a massive ban maybe they can get my 20 euros a week back, if they choose the other option... well, its their choice.

i wish them the best incomes with the bugusers, we all know how bugusers are a big supporters in any game.

I've played for 2 weeks now, 6-8 hours a day. thats 1/3 of my vacation.. if that goes to waste by a rollback... >.<
Get all new players to this topic and you'll have 10000 votes going to no rollback

For my personal view and feedback,

What's done cannot be undone. This is life though of cause we are in virtual world =) As a genuine players honestly i also felt "jealous" for those whom used such methods to attain valuables instead of paying or spending through hard efforts farming. However if there are to rollback, it will definitely be so unfair towards players whom had farmed so hard since day1 of this event.

For my case i am one of the affected Mac User being unable to play since day1 of event r171. But due to my eagerness i brought back my office "windows" computer back home to play this event. I had been farming for 15hours/day and gotten so much of items. I even farmed so hard for the latest black wolf mount from varholm. If there is this rollback i will definitely feel very disappointed and frustrated.

Of cause like i said it is my feedback. Whatever Bp decisions is i just hope your end could kindly make it fast. DO NOT DRAG THIS ISSUE FURTHER PLEASE. Make a fast resolution and case closed. Reason being, the longer you drag each day the more items we will get and if your end calls for a rollback players whom farmed hard will go crazy. Alternatively, there might be some players whom actually stop farming awaiting your final decision because if we continue farm and till next week or months you called for rollback why should we carry on this game aimlessly?

This event suppose to be meant for celebrations for both BP team as well as players. We thank you for coming up with this event as well as rushing for this new r171. But to be frank it is a failure on my personal view. Dragging isn't a solution of cause i do know decision have to go through the board of committee and not a "one man decision" but look at your Mac players. Mac players started this event on the 5th day of the event meaning Mac users have only 5days of this even compared to Window users. And for this compensation you need a week or so to do it on your end.

Celebrations had became a nightmare for both players and Bp staffs. I just hope my feedback contributes to your actions you going to implement as soon as possible with less troubles.

Some areas perhaps you can look into?
    - Our logging data and track our playing time?
    - Our inventory e.g. egg opener or arena entry? for me i farmed i got almost 3000egg opener and 21 arena entry.
    - I believe when we write to support via thin client your end can even see our IP add and Mac user/window user?

Ps: There are really true sincere players/followers in DSO. Do not lose these potentials clients that had been following DSO for years with you. (though i admit i am not 1 of them compared to some hardcore players + payers ^^) And also each day you drag on the resolution, you are just making us feel that we are playing on the "TEST SERVER"

Am i right DSO folks? ^^

=) happen to have this thoughts...

Rollback?? How about rolling back Real Cash backdate to day1 event r171? (I am pretty sure there are some genuine players whom pump in Real Cash for this event).

Will it be rolled back as well? ^^

Most likely there wont be a roll back.
Today they had an event for purchasing the in game curency and also some new mount packs with real money.
That means they have decided if they gonna roll back or not.
And to be honest I kinda understand why they wont roll back, after a roll back there will be new names on the forums complaining how the roll back affected them some of those new names will be the cheaters too so in order to avoid getting the whole comunity angry they will just get the half of them.
On the other hand, people have been buying the in game curency to help them thru the event those players will fire shoots at them for weeks and that can really affect them.
Theres only one solution to help them out of this mess, to put their minds at work and ban everyone who used the bug it will take time ofc but you save the comunity, you save the game you keep them money coming ;p

My bet is that the cheaters will be tracked down in a week or so, but what I'm not so sure about is what BP will do. I want to see a perma-ban, but as I've said before, a permanent ban will likely cost them a lot of money since cheaters spend and spenders cheat. As time goes on, I'd be willing to bet that once they track down the cheaters, there will be some heavy sanctions and maybe the really big cheaters will get a perma-ban, but I expect that many of them will get their ill-gotten goodies stripped from them and get some long, but non permanent bans.

BTW, a ban wave now would not revert the effects of PW farming the cheaters did in the past 2 days, having "clean" guild members or second-account twinks profiting from their newly gained strength.
I am still strictly in favor of a roll-back to revert the effects.

That profit is marginal comparing to 5x zumpe gems etc. And looks like there wont be any rollback, they would have acted already if that was an option.

Btw, looks like the botting is still going on and noone is approaching that issue. 2 years without bans for botting.

Have you checked the bot forums recently? It may still be getting updated, but the traffic is nothing compared to what it was when bots were really a problem. I'm sure that a bot ban will come and catch some people by surprise, but I don't think that the game is infested any more.

One of the BP staffs said on a facebook comment that the company staff decided not to do a roll back...

And I read on the Klingonian forum that BP's hobby is to kick players in the nuts.

YES NO ROLL BACK! just track the player had so many times doing pinatas gem or jester etc. on the event and give him a proper action of what they did...dont suffer other players for the other wrong doing. some player said roll back is necessary...but to those who played a couple of days/hours to get something on reward or whatsoever are totally painful and maybe lead to him to quit the game.

@Allogeneous So you guys have finally started to ban players. I just need to remember you to ban p2p accounts too. Just wondering :D

According to Salsania, SuperMod on the German forum, it seems a new statement from BP can be expected by tomorrow (Friday - which is the latest bearable, anyway, from my p.o.v.).
She said it wasn't looking too bad, for some "real solution", it seems - but as BP seems to not even have been considering a rollback I doubt if I will find much trust in that "solution".
Anyway, I'm excited and anxious to see what they'll come up with.

I am not saying permanent IP bans but all the accounts linked with that IP. I am sure most of the players were using this bug in their twink or second account and then come here and pretend innocent. As you mention earlier, if accounts using bugs were only to be banned then "stupid players" who used bug in their main account gets ban and loose their main account, however, "smart players" who used bug in their alternative accounts will escape the ban as they still have their account to play with. That's not fair.
