To bad.... need info where is enchanted sandglass vial and golden urn with ghost. Cant belive that you need to buy 15 cloth for all urns in m3 or something like that for all broken sandglass on m2.

My first impression of that new set :
It is too complicated ... too expensive ... and it is clearly favoring only one class (I won't jump into conclusion yet I need to test it more).
So expect SMs with 12-15K base damage without essences and buffs ... very soon.
Why SM? Because they don't need crit damage, crit hit and attack speed.

BTW ... those whirls are following me in urban areas as well

You are right, they should finally start doing smth against critless strategy of Dwarfs. Even though I enjoy teaming up with them :) crafting dmg only build is very straightforward, as it is critdmg which is hard to get, as fatal maps give no benefits.

Btw, does it really increase weapon dmg by ~47.5%? I heard someone tested it, and seen only marginal increase, like it was 4.75%, not 47.5%.

Upd, does it increase weapon dmg or item dmg? The adornment itself... if so, that would really be a dwarf dream.

by looking at these items in not seeing where you are getting how dwarfs are gona gain that much dmg, %dmg on this item doesnt realy do much, the weapon adornment even more so if you have the defender one. if im wrong please explain?

and dwarfs dont need attack speed is NOT TRUE only a noob dwarf doesnt bother with speed

btw thank you for your work on the wiki and test server providing us with this info

After saw the wiki page updated by Traki i was very disappointed :(
    1) The set bonus as item's stats have crit and crit dmg, not good for sm :(
    2) The cooldown of whirl is so long, 1 whirl from the necklace 1 whirl from the set bonus and both of them have 100s+ cd
    3) The damage of whirl look bad, 500% base dmg in 120s? and 150% base dmg in 180s?
The dmg maybe higher with bonus from adomment and belt but look like still kinda normal compare to class's skill
    4) I dont know how this whirl work yet but i guess it will go around you in circle and deal dmg to enemy?
Trakilaki can you make a video about it pleasee ?
    5) I hear people complain about the drop rate, if the drop is so bad like that then i think this event is not worth to do, the tier 3 set is ok but the tier 2 look terrible :(
Btw, thank for uploading the item picture on wiki Trakilaki ! :)

Isn't the attack speed factored into the formula for the damage output of the Machine gun turrets?, as far as I remember it is, my memory could be tricking me though.

I think it does count for the turrets from what i've read.

Has SM the same malus or something different?

I found this in this thread:

I remember now that someone shared the exact formula with me in game chat, but I can't quite remember it, maybe someone around here knows it.

Thanks! So this is an excellent gear for SM or maybe 1h DK tank.

    That is correct.
Attack speed is calculated in the turret's final damage per hit.
But ... damage still beats attack speed overall ... due to many factors.

I agree on the too complicated and too expensive part, but the only item that favors the SM is the bullets. Otherwise, the set is useless for them. And do that end, I still think that the Defender's weapon adornment is superior for the SM. At 10%-12% of the base damage, it can easily be worth 400+ damage for a SM where as this new bullet, even packed full of royal rubies, would only amount for an extra 90 damage (as much as 160 with decent % damage) vs putting the same rubies in a normal weapon since the 47.5% only applies to that item.

All in all, the items are not worth the time and effort and I won't be farming for them. I'll be farming for the other stuff that you can buy from the vendors.
As said above, the damage boost given to rubies put in the weapon is just OK, and that 160 damage estimate comes at the expense of all the speed. I'd rather have sapphires in the Defender's Decoration than this item loaded with rubies.

    TL;DR
The new set is garbage for almost everyone and only one item is remotely useful for SMs, but there are better ones out there.

    About this:

All classes do high damage due to crit damage with high crit rate, all except dwarves.
    So all should:
    1. buy the bless to cancel malus
    2. play with half offensive stats in order to save money but farming slowly
while for all dwarves this malus has no effect.
Good job bp, nice balanced and fair event.

Well event overall seems nice, but some things should defininitely be changed like debuffs from monsers and well little tweaks to new uniques.

No it not increasing weapon dmg but increase dmg on item. If you put ruby in it you will get 47,5% more dmg (+22 ruby will be 32,45).

Event is nice and, as always graphics are beautiful, but there is few thing that are disputable.

First set is maybe only interesting for dwarfs (as is it said before hire). But Its nice idea to have "4 flavors" of items.

Second you get coins only from m1, on m2 and m3 you get only frags needed for end boss. After 2 hours of play I finish all quest from traders on the start and have 3100 bone coins. Since 2500 are from quest that mean I get from drop only 600 in 2 hours. Lets say you play 4h a day, so for 14 days you will get about 14,5k bone coins and you can get for them..... what? Epic mount really interesting and beautiful but it cost 40k.

Boss on the map should drop exo not blue items. quest are partially explaind (like with urn=cloth and sandglass=repair scroll). In some point I didnt finish quest and repair scroll are gone from trader :(. M2 and M3 dont have any purpose than getting frags for end boss, so most of players will play only m1 since really interesting items cost 40 and 100k of bone coins.

You always seem to start in the right direction but somehow realization and mechanics of event annulled that good start.
