    Hey guys,
I'm playing on Tegan server and I'm a dragonknight. At level 40 I did quite a bit of 5v5, then it suddenly stopped, I cannot get 5v5 matchups. It always gives me fewer people to match up with Eg People I talk to have a full lineup when I have 4, when they go into the match they are all people in my level range. When I try to group people, they all go from a full matchup to the same situation as me, still needing 6 more people. This has been happening for a number of months now (4-5 I believe), I've reported it to support a number of times and they say they cannot help me, it's a coding problem. Due to the lack of help I have received from support, I'm now posting it in here in hope that a Dev sees this and can actually do something. This only happens to 5v5, no other game mode, and due to Tegans server size the only battles that happen are 5v5 and 1v1.
I hope you guys can help me instead of sweeping me under carpet which normally happens.
    Thanks

I am pretty sure all servers are equal in size ... but not equally populated.
However... even if Grimmag (where I am playing) is more than well populated ... you can't play 6v6 after midnight. That is because most of the players are not active in that time.
    You have two options
    1. Try in different period of the day
    2. Get to level 50 where more players are available for PvP matches.

Im at level 50 now, the time of the day I play 5v5 is running for hours. Its a coding bug on my character apparently, what can you guys do?

If thats a 'coding bug on your char', what make you think it can be resolved here on the forum?) Read what Traki said, try different hours, try teaming up, try other pvp types to change your win-loss ratio etc.

I guess you havent read what I said, I did state that I grouped people and the same thing did happen, Ive tried litterally every single hour of the day, Im posting here because support just swept me under the rug, and I hope someone here could point me in the right direction of where to go

His problem is not single, there was also a PvP char dwarf who had the same problem, if he go 5v5 the match never started, he had it more than 5 months and after that he deleted it...

  8. Nah, mate: it's not a coding issue. The Support volunteers know how to fix it, but they won't. They make silly claims like "We've reported the issue to Big Point... blah, blah" or "This is a known issue, blah, blah". They're real jerks like that.
I ran into a developer on the TS once and he told me exactly what causes the problem and how to fix it. It all starts when characters are small. They learn how to fight and start beating more and more monsters. By the time some enter Grotto, they're pretty strong, and they go around slaughtering all the witches. While they're doing that, the head witch lays a hex on them! She's really cunning. The curse isn't noticeable straight away. Oh, no. But a bit later on, it starts kicking in. First, the drop-rate for uniques and good legendaries starts falling off. Then "Nebula errors" creep in. Support will probably claim that you need to update your graphics driver or that you need to clear your DSO client temp folder or some other hogwash like that, but they are just trying to hide the real truth from you: you're a/c has been cursed! Finally, it affects your PvP matches. There you are, a strapping Lvl 5 Field Marshal and you register for a 5v5 and it won't trigger! Or you're Lvl 40 on a small server, and an event has just started which you don't want to participate in, so you you register for 6v6 and, lo and behold(!) the game tells you that no-one else has registered!!!
There is only one solution to all of this according to my dev. mate: you have to perform the "Sacred Rite of Jibberjabber" in the heart of Grotto during a Blooodmoon. It's not for the squeamish or feint of heart! First, you have to obtain one of the "Loving Purple Octopus" pets. Then you have to lead it into the very heart of Grotto. It won't be easy: they feel nervous in the fetid swamp-lands of Grotto. But smile reassuringly at your little sacrifice and sing them one of the sea-shanty lullaby songs like their dear mother used to sing - if you can't think of any, "We all live on a yellow submarine" will suffice. Once you've lured the cute multi-legged little purple guy into the middle of the swamp-land, you have to quickly turn around and scream "Sashimi!" at it. The wee fella will be absolutely spineless with fear and immediately ink itself (he'll come right after a few years of intensive psycho therapy.... usually). Yes, I know octopuses are naturally spineless, but this will make it even more so. Quickly scoop up the inky black stuff, run past the quivering jelly-like purple pet to the nearest cave wall and write the words "This is a known issue which was reported by Support to Big Point around two years ago and has been bumped in the internal report over 200 times and mentioned in the Weekly Reports every couple of weeks ever since." Write that around 1,000 times, and you will start to fathom the degree of frustration that the Support volunteers feel every time some lovely little lad/ladess claims that Support is doing nothing to help and is "sweeping the issue under the carpet". M'kay?
