I have not searched to see if others have suggested the same thing or not. There are too many combinations for what others might call what I'm describing... So here goes. :)

Can we have an additional tab between "Character Window" and "PvP Statistics" that could be called "Skill Damage" (maybe with a "single sword dripping blood" for an icon)?

    What would be on it:

    Base Damage:
    xxx - xxx
    Attack Speed:
    x.xx Attack/sec.
    LM: skill name
    xxx - xxx
    RM: skill name
    xxx - xxx
    1: skill name
    xxx - xxx
    2: skill name
    xxx - xxx
    3: skill name
    xxx - xxx
    4: skill name
    xxx - xxx
    5: skill name
    xxx - xxx
    6: skill name
    xxx - xxx
    7: skill name
    xxx - xxx
    Tab: skill name
    xxx - xxx

Since some skills, such as Chain Lightning and Lightning Strike, which also have additional damage for electrified foes, a third columm with "additional damage" range would be nice as well (skill without this would have a blank third column cell).

An alternative would be a colapsable section on the "Character Window", which would make the "Resistance Values" section need to be collapsable as well to prevent... well, not really. There is room for a scroll bar that would start below the experience line.

    Thoughts everyone?

An interesting notion. Although not very useful for more experienced players. I've am only back to the game 10 1/2 months (left before r155) and I stopped moving skills to my L-clk some time ago to check their damages ;) Also this game already suffers terribly from too much info download and this would only aggravate that problem.

    Luck be with ye,

I agree with Mikey, with some experience you would feel the dmg on every skill you use. My hands just stop casting the skill without looking at mob HP, as they feel he will be dead after that latest shot)

That shouldnt impact performance a lot though, as this is sort of static info, seen on that screen only. But I would rather see an effective dmg info, DPS or something like that.

I know the feeling... but sometimes a random crit/not crit can be rather disconcerting. It is like the feeling you get when you are going down the stairs in the dark and you forget that there was one more step before the landing.

    EDIT:
After just playing a little, I realized that I also do this with bleed. I feel the bleed and know when to keep running to deal with the next mob because the one I just hit will die from his wounds.

trakilaki, when I first read your reply post, I was rather offended. Then I realized it was a link and followed it, and watched the video. I don't "get" the song, so I'm not sure if I should be more offended or less.

My first impression watching it was "Cooper supports female spouse abuse?". Then I got that I must not be understanding what he's singing.

The real point should be that, at times, everyone bleeds. No?

Either way, we are getting off topic.

If it was a button you click on to display the info on the left side of the screen then I wouldn't mind it. Small, unobtrusive, and optional to check.
