    Well , i don;t like it for a lot of reasons... like all use ess in opren arena , official arena war vs war is a time fight , dwarfs have more regenerations tha warrior and they are the only class which can hit and run in the same time a cause off turrets. Well pvp it's not so bad but for exeple at mortis .. kill him 1 time after u need to go to city after m1 m2 mortis again .... . And the differance between all 4 characters stats is too little , rangers can got easy 6k armor with dragan/dark set and good critical and dmg too. For exemple i have 7,6k armor 18k hp 2k resistance 1600 dmg 240% crit dmg 4k critical , and i hit some ranger 200 with basic hit. the diffence between characters stats is little and the differance between characters dmg skills is very huge. The best skill from warrior have now 240% dmg , ranger now arrow have 200% from imact (x2 with mark) and 200% with explosion skill mage dmg after the armorbreaker work so that means 800%, mage have huge dmg too on new skills. And pvp who war vs war is very ....most of them play full deff and run to wait for time , the same with dwarfs. That's one of the reasons for what i choose to melt my pvp items and to play only with 2h. After all for all new skills looks good , but also all have the same tactic now and it;s very boring to play at all , mages use only new skill and some time fireball , ranger use only the new skill with dragan , who haven't draan use sometimes red arrow, and i saw the same tactic at all players . I haven't fun anymore on dso.

    I did log on forum just to state this thread. I respect your statment but it sounds more likely a personal problem. With the stats u say u have u can beat most of the players on pvp and if u know how to use ur skills im sure ur a good tanky for all bosses. After the great BOOm of lvl 50 , ofc its better for all classes and though its not fully balanced i think its better than it was before. About ess in arena , why didnt u started a pool for that instead of rollback all the game? :) They make us go back to town because nobody was "using" ocean of bones map and also because we all were doing the easiest way , just by using doors in and out. Every map have a cost , they are alocated in servers when we play so they must be used somehow. At least now we kill some mobs on the path to HOD and wont do too much "mini hods" since we will ever have to go back town. In fact this is not bad, if the map is there, its supposed to be used. :) So, after!

    the drop rate is down after 158 hot fix...first they want us to like release 158 then hot fix came the drop is down....release 159 will come then they put the drop further down since difficulty drop will be normal..i wish to see this guy whose responsible for those decisions of drop rate to give him punch in the face for the frustration we had...please vote guys for punch or not

    Drop rates have DRASTICALLY increased since R158 in the new PW.
    The legendary drop rate have also considerably increased both from the PW bosses and from random mobs.
    It isn't just me but many of them agree to same.
    Sorry, but I don't want you to punch anyone, down vote.
    Btw, you can instead punch a hefty walking punchbag, not sure if that punchbag is on your server or no :D

    Do you mean with regular quests, not PW? I agree. I see a major difference in drop quality between when I played ranger before the release, and now playing mage after the release.

    well , now all characters can have very similar stats , but the differents between dmg on skills is very huge . is very hard to hit your oponent with smash in pvp so we play more with regefull swing (100% dmg ) and wild swing (200%),if u compare with ranger arrows or mage hits ... Also warriors recieve a lot of hits before they hit the opponent one tine . To face the new dmg of players like a warrior u need to play full defense ... and with full defense will be only a time fight .if u play with balanced stats no way to resist in team fight like 3v3 . even in 1v1 against a ranger with dragan and a good bow with dmg 2-3 hits with new skill and u sleep , if u wait vs an warrior it's a time fight , againt dwarfs .. they won at exhaution ... i really don't like pvp now , how i can like to play 1v1 again someone who run and heal or against someone with lowers stats but wich on a cause warrior is weak against the other characters

    I think it will be nice for all without any regeneration but warior to be the only one not affected by exhaustion . there again will won who have better stats not who run and heal more ....

    For the most part I like the game better after the expansion. Of course they messed some things up and made pvp a little more unbalanced (imho).

    Some of the changes don't seem to be well thought out or implemented well, but I'm relatively sure that it looked good on paper when they drew it up.

    If they would have built upon what players had before the great nerf, it could have been better.

    They gave us the option to build dmg or speed or health which is a good thing. Of course they didn't give us enough points compared to how the old system worked, but it is tolerable.

    The regular maps (46-50) are kind of pointless but they look good. The new PW seems to be okay, but they did make farming a little more difficult. I certainly miss the boss only runs. I miss the HOD farming.

    They did improve the drop rate in other pw maps which is a great thing, but since you cannot reset those maps over and over, it sort of defeats the purpose, but I get their idea. They want more grinding.

    They did add more uniques which is a good thing. Of course those pieces are junk for end game players, so it makes one wonder if any of the dev's have ever played the game or not.

    They do seem to be spending a lot of time on useless features like the CV that don't seem to be well thought out, but at least they are trying something. Sure, I wish they would spend more time creating something useful instead of copying a ten year old game or the 3rd version of another, but it is what it is. Originality seems to be dying.

    The real downside I've seen since the expansion is that they spend a lot of time "fixing" things that should have been tested more before being forced into the live servers. They seem to be in such a rush to bring new stuff every few weeks that they don't put in the necessary time to make sure it works as intended.

    As much as I would like to see a perfectly balanced pvp, it is never going to happen. Some people will get luckier with gear. Some will spend more money. Some will twink. Sure it could be better, but I don't see it happening any time soon as they are too busy trying to copy others.

    well the new changes looks good at all , we can have a balanced char with the new knowledge , but they need to find a good balance beween all characters , is not ok for someone with gems , items glyphs to be beated by someone lower at all. On paper all things looks good even if they aren't , because not all time things work like you want. Well 3 moths after R155 came and still this problems , i think was better to wait and test it more , some ppl don't like for a lot of reasons like a said too in the previous comment

    That's exactly the problem, but how do you completely balance the characters when there is too many random factors that can influence a build?

    So far they have tweaked some enchantments on items, nerfed the crit, and upped the gems.

    They have ignored the low level items that are OP and done very little to address the twink problem.

    No matter what they do for potential class balancing, it will not stop those who get lucky with drops. It will not change someone who farms a lot, and it will not change those who spend a lot.

    A heavy spender will beat most people.
    A heavy farmer will beat a lot of people.
    A lucky person who gets incredible gear will beat some people.

    I don't know how you could balance those variables.

    Recently they have seemed confused on how to balance. They gave ranged characters the ability to seriously increase their damage but can only take one or two hits. They gave tanks the ability to survive but not kill anything.

    Some players have suggested damage mitigation but DSO hasn't said anything specific on what they may do. Other players simply scream "nerf" this or that.

    So far I've not seen anyone suggest the perfect balance answer.

    Trying to give each class the ability to survive and still kill seems impossible. And that is before you add in the variables like time, luck or money.

    If you take away some of the dmg from the ranged classes, people will go nuts.
    If you give dmg to tanks on top of their defense, people will go nuts.

    The simple answer is to have class only (sw vs sw, or tank vs tank, etc) pvp, but people would go nuts on that also (as well they should) but it would solve the op class issue.

    On top of all that, whatever balance they bring to pvp effects pve play and that adds another mess to the whole balance thing.

    I just think it would be nice if all the dmg we do in arena would be reduced. Maybe by half or at least 1/3
    So what if you can't kill anyone in 1-2 shots. One of the reasons why low level pvp is fun in a way is that the dmg is much smaller (well at least it used to be before r155). You had 1k hp and if you hit 200 dmg with precision on an opponent, that was considered a big deal (at least for normal non-twink players)

    Even if you cut damage in half, it still wouldn't be balanced. A regular player who plays a few hours per day won't be able to compete with a guy who drops hundreds of dollars into gems.

    How would the regular player compete with the player who gets lucky with drops? A nice gear set can make a difference and we all know how "luck" plays into getting a set. How do you balance that?

    And all this still doesn't change the differences between ranged and melee. How do you balance that? Would tanks get more foot speed to close the difference? Would ranged classes get lower time to jump out of the way? Who gets the most dmg? How do you balance dmg with defense?

    When you really spend time considering each and every class instead of just the one you play, you'll start to see how difficult the process can be.

    Of course you can think about it like this ... if you solved the problem every pvp game in the world would be copying the system in a week, so figure out a way to sell the idea :p

    You're basically 100% correct but devs in this game have no clue.

    DK has worst of everything:

    First of all its laughable that DK needs "rage".
    This might work in PVE where 15 monsters mindlessly hit you for low damage.
    in PVP this is serious handicap.
    All a ranger / mage has to do is run / jump away and you will lose your rage and then you can't even fight (battlecry/jump has WAY LONG COOLDOWN and often you need these to even try to get close to ranger / mage so they are on cooldown before fight even starts)

    Compare stuns:
    DK Stuns: Charge (skillshot, requires aim). Groundbreaker, SLOW missile, small area. Iron brow, ya right, u can barely even hit anyone with this.
    Mage: 2 freeze, one is instant large AOE, other is instant also large AOE, none require skill to aim.
    Ranger: Bird = auto aim fire and forget, Net = near instant, small area, requires skill

    Mobility / Stun breaks:
    DK has longest cooldown on jump / battle cry
    Ranger with adrenaline runs faster than DK / and shorter CD. Jump has CC break and shorter CD
    Mage, similar to ranger.

    Damage:
    DK has less damage on paper.
    In reality WAY LESS damage because smash / banner unuseable in PVP
    In reality WAY LESS damage because you can't even get close to a good mage/ranger because they will JUMP+CC Break and then run all day, and since their jump has less cooldown you cannot ever catch them.
