this unq item will also have higher chance of drop or only drop of pw ring and good legendry item have high chance

 

If you read the other thread (announcement for this), you will see that even though the event applies to PWs as well, "higher drop chances will only apply to those items that can be obtained via world drops – this excludes the uniques that can be dropped only by bosses".

 

why not 24hr?...is it 2much to give your costumers 24 hours of more drop? beside some people are sleeping during this time like tegan server....pathetic !!!

 

Agreed, the time for this event is cruelly short... many likely won't be able to catch any of it.

 

Yeah... I don't imagine the increase is so drastic that they need to limit it to 5 hours only...

 

Dude, chill out, I'm from Tegan and it will run 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. on my time zone, which is 2 hours difference (I think...) with the server's physical location.

Though!, 5 hours of just extra gear is plain insufficient, some of us have been farming for months waiting for your infamous "Crafting -0.002" and have still to see any decent preparations, 5 hours aren't going to make a palpable difference even for those of us who can farm fatal effectively.

90% of the "World uniques" are useless to the vast majority of the players, even the free to play, and for the players that can't access the Parallel World this event is useless as well, the drops on the overworld are plain too bad even if "increased".

So then, gear only?, sorry, this event doesn't present a thrill to me, if it was increased drop rates for everything, everything being gems, potions, gold, realm fragments, essences and all what we can loot from monsters, I would understand (kinda...) 5 hours a month, but double green items for the average player is laughable. 5 hours of double gear drops for the ones able to run the PW in any difficulty just mean more gold/GoP for 90% of the players, except for those blessed by the PRNG gods, since the quality remains the same.

Also, makes me wonder..., you just say "increased", but, how much?, 10%, 20%, 100%, 0.1%?, would it be that bad to release the magic number to the public so that we know what to actually expect from the "event" and see if it's worth bothering or not?

P.S. 5 hours, LOL

 

time is not suit for every one , i am tegan player, but in my country it at 3.30am , if i want this event i have wake at mid night to play this event, 5 hr is very less time

 

Looks like you are from india just like me , and the worst part is that this Saturday isn't off for me

+1 to that. Giving me more of what I already don't want isn't exactly encouraging.

Now if this were 5 hours of nothing but exo gear dropping, I might get excited.

Yeah I know, the cries of OPness would rain from above, but those people are going to whine no matter what.

 

2 rounds of q3 fatal all maps + Heredur and i have more greens than what i can get from a week of farming. Best "event" ever

 

Well, if those green items come with Gold stats at a reasonable rate, I'm fine with that... I'm looking for pieces for crafting my ultimate amulet.

 

I would be very happy too if they had a gold line but everything was well crap. And after those 2 runs i made around 50 more only on the first map on fatal and still nothing. Litteraly i didnt excepted much from it since i tested it on the test server and it had the same drops. I believe a good way to improve it would be an increased drop rate at all the items ( extraordinary, legendary) and not only greens by the fact that its only 5 hours.

 

So... Did you guys get anything that would make you conclude that it was because of this event? Just wanna know if I lost anything!

 

The time periods are disappointing.

3pm to 8pm?

What about those of us with jobs during those periods. Even somebody with a normal 9 to 5 job is screwed if they have a normal commute + dinner lifestyle.

 

Two and a half hours in and I've only gotten two items worth using.

One was a shield with a 0.63 block strength line and the other was a weapon decoration with 242 crit.

 

you were luckier than me... I got only 1 good green item.
There were moments that I was thinking if this event was real or just a fake

 

One of the best events in history of DSO.
I spent 5 hours farming and I have got many, many ... many epic items with golden lines. I will post a screenshots of every single item ... It will be a very long list and I don't know it there will be place in this post to insert all those pictures.

Hmmm .... well that was it!

I spent 5 hours farming and I got that extra OP item ... and now I'm happy and I can sleep well out of happiness.

Significantly increased chance from fatal mode + Epic Increased chance from the "event" + 3,0 % increased chance of finding items from regular monsters from Winter Festival Bag ... stacked together got me this OP item. -.-
(facepalm)

Well ... at least now I have almost 35K materi frags and I can craft another tier 2 RoD. -.-

 

Yawn... I'm guessing that someone at DSO thought that this would be a good idea for some odd reason. Lots of greens of course, and .... I'm sure there was something else.

On the good side, it was easy to add up some gold for crafting that I'll never get to use.
