Feedback Release 183

Have the same problem here, i'm using Black Warlord Regalia, T3 Blood Rune Amulet, Sigris set, 2 Bloodtooths and T3 grimmag fiery tracks

 

Maybe that is what release 183 did. It merged the 'normal' server with the 'test' server.

 

That sounds like the bonus for signing up to the mail newsletter. Don't think it has to do with R183.
Sometimes people get random mail bonuscodes, but not everyone else does.

As for this release, it's barely worth a spit. Next time maybe just renounce a patch if it's still this BS, alright?

I know exactly what happened. Your friend a while ago invited others (means he knew others who wasn't already playing and are gamers, possibly you were one of them) and the 1st/5th/10th one he invited made level 15.

As for me, I've never invited anyone. I don't know anyone who's looking for a new game. (Most of the people in my circle aren't gamers.) I also understand that such a reward is so rarely seen that nobody else recognized it for what it is.

 

Uhm, the rewards for inviting people to play are totally different...

 

So umm. How long do we have to play with bugged hp? You know the people that are affected? People with unique sets that give hp. Majority of which would have been obtained through a good amount of money spent or a good amount of time spent. Neither of which you would want to piss off.

Get to fixing this problem A.S.A.P or at least give us some bs update like "Hey, we found the problem in line 32 of the whatchamacallit and we are in the process of awaiting the outsourced yeahifixstuff company technicians to come to our premises and fix it"

Keeping quiet is just raising tempers. Btw, you have some people that are just playing with gimped hp, cos they are most likely doing dailies, grinding painful mode, non-hp dependent classes or log on to socialize. But check your logs. There has to be a decrease in online players. noone like playing at less than what they've built.

Also for every whiteknight that comes here after this post and starts with the "Adapt, get good, 1k hp is not that big of a deal" Make their gimped HP permanent. See how they like it.

Prioritize and fix this. Like anythign else can be thrown to the side for now. Fix this bug!

 

Nope... he signed up on his spellweaver just to get the daily bonus, saw the bonus and freaked out that he didn't get it on his main character. So he didn't put in any bonus willingly - he'd have no reason to do that on his tertiary character (he already has plenty of essence there).

Nah, he didn't invite anyone either.
I joined the game way before him btw. I'm a veteran.

On a sidenote, I also saw the news when logging in via the website. At least Bigpoint is trying to poke some fun at the whole situation. "Maybe" some new event, "Definitely" new bugs. No ****.

 

Whoever was responsible for this latest news on the login page needs to be lauded and congratulated.

Whether the dry humor was intentional or not, it is marvelous

Most importantly it is totally open and honest... something that has been desperately lacking of late.

What "news" can be announced there anyway? There is nothing to be told.
I am doing the same for the past few releases at wiki as well.

Secret projects ... yea right ... before the secret project went public there won't be any player left in the game if you keep them in dark. That is not the way to talk to the community ... and certainly these patchnotes (if they might be called so) are icing on the cake.

 

Maintenance in a few minutes, hope they fix the hp bug

 

Servers going down for maintenance all of a sudden... no prior announcement... just a 15 minutes warning in-game, no idea when, or if, they'll be live again... oh well... that's how things are done around here now. Better get used to it.

 

I'm curious if hotfixes are pushed through the test environment first to have dedicated players double check things. I know it takes longer to push a hotfix this way but helps trying to prevent the introduction of extra bugs there.

Well, at least one good thing happened.

 

Except looks like the client crashes as soon as you login to the game, with a critical error...

 

Probably because he was on the leaderboards for soloing PW and the season just ended. Just a guess.

 

Nope ... there is no such reward from the leaderboards.
It is a reward for confirming/changing email address.

Can not load game.. AGAIN....

 

Is it that shader error preventing you from loading the hotfix? There's a workaround that involves adding -stable to the properties if using the thin client.
