    Hello,
I was hoping some of the footage I saw of r185 didn't have a few things go to live server ESPECIALLY how all the new weapons look.

First of all the only thing that is shown now is the base damage before any enchantments are applied, this is only useful for the new system of randomized based stats system which I do like.
However increase damage on weapons and increase damage stats are no longer showing their affect on the weapons damage or damage per second.

This new format is extremely user unfriendly. My friends, guildies and people I've helped level in the past pm me asking about their weapons and confusion on which is better for them and if there weapon has lost damage with the new update.

The only way to get an idea a weapon has on your base damage is to compare to what you have already but this is especially useless now that we can have 60% increase damage stats on our 2h weapons.
A solution would be to put the base damage of the weapon at the top of the item, then the weapons normal stats under it, what it looked like before-easily readable.

    ex:
    Weapon name
    *(Base Damage) xxx-xxx*
    (0,83 Attacks per Second)

    *(Weapon Damage) xxx-xxx*
    *(Damage per second)xxx*

    +enchantment
    +enchantment
    +enchantment
    +enchantment

    Gems:

    x
    x
    x
    x
    x

Also I really despise how critical hit value no longer appears on new weapons :(:mad::mad:

Is the new look temporary? They are changing it back right? At least give us an option in settings, comparing weapons is rediculous.

Hi, @Universeea , please make use of the edit button if you have something to add to your original post, remember that double-posting and the use of it to bump threads is against our forum rules (treated as spam).

Also, thanks for your suggestion and for letting us know how you feel about the tooltip changes, let's see what other heroes think about them and we'll make sure to pass your thoughts to the right places. ;)

  3. This is the official answer we got on this question:

"Why does my weapon now display less damage than before (tooltip changes)?

Rest assured that no values have actually changed on your weapons. We only adjusted the old tooltip that used to calculate a number of different stats to come up with weapon damage value. This is why you now see static stats for your weapons right now. We’ve been listening to your feedback on this change, and have also taken to heart what you said about the confusing nature of the Combat Values. We’d like to combine those two features to provide a good replacement calculation that reflects your feedback and makes much more sense for everybody.
So why did we make this change? The old tooltip was misleading and caused game issues with the new gem system. It was misleading because it computed an incomplete set of values and variables and failed to consider some stats and buffs altogether."

I am like you. I feel the change was unnecessarily complicated and is actually more confusing than it was before. Further, like almost everything about this release, it was not communicated well and we are getting all information on the back end. You can also be assured that the feedback they are referring to did not come from the English team and only time will tell if they do anything useful with the Combat Value system, or if they take someone else's feedback and make an already bad system worse. Personally, I'm partial to the two number systems based on DPS and Effective HP that have been discussed thoroughly on these forums and we have passed up that feedback many times since the release of the CV system.

Thankyou for your answer. I guess I can only hope the weapon format we're seeing since the release is not going to be staying for too long...

I wouldn't hold my breath. I've was holding my breath on them changing the misleading and downright worthless CV system after a huge community wide outcry and after multiple suggestions of a system that would actually make sense... Long story short, my hope suffocated. Lesson learned, "Don't hold your breath waiting for BigPoint to do the smart thing, even when the community does all the work for them."

As of right now many players are in the dark, not knowing how the stats on their weapon affect the weapon itself and their base damage.

    Hey there heroes,

Rest sure that we passed your feedback to our team.
When this is related with a feature feedback, please use the right thread to do it...
    Cheers, ;)

CV is so useless and so many people know that and have also said it... it's just unbelievable how the higher-ups didn't get the message yet (or don't care)... scrap it, or... actually, leave it... ignore it lest something else gets magically screwed over, like many times before. Just give us back our DPS stat and enchantments adding up into base stats, so we can properly assess weapons and other items.

I've was...? You meant I was or I've been? On another note, they did ban the bug users in the anniversary event after the community raged so you may never know. Maybe you just need enough people.
