    Hello ,
I have seen the new system to rafine the sapphire on test server.

I don't agree with the fact that gems higher than Radiant Sapphire can be rafined only for 2H weapon because players that have upgrade gems to Flawlees Sapphire and beyond will not have gems for pvp and they need to play at jesters to make those gems for pvp.
That is why i consider that your system that put restriction between gems types is not ok.
Please reconsider and let us transform a royal gem for example in more celerity runes if is necesary.

    You system is this:

1 For sapphires lower than 8.6 speed you can only exchange them for celerity runes that can be used in main hand, 2H and weapon adornment.

This rafiner type [IMG] is used to get this [IMG] i get this result [IMG] from this [IMG]

    ==============================================
2 For sapphires higher than 8.6 speed (included) you can only exchange them for GRAND celerity runes that can be used only on 2H weapon.

This rafiner [IMG] is forcing you to get this [IMG] form
Flawlees Sapphire+ and this is only for 2H weapon.

My suggestion is to let us rafine with Sapphire Rafiner all gems in celerity gems.
Remove the restriction for the higher gems to be rafine only in 2h runes.

    (Sorry for my english)
    Thank you.

    P.S please vote your opinion!

Oh so they are doing something with sapphires.
How many of those to convert royal sapphire into whatever rune it relates to?

This is completely bogus. Sapphires should be refined based on their speed value alone and not weapon type. The only class I have ever used 2h weps with is the SM (yeah, I'm weird that way:cool:) Ironically I have no SM's with sapphs above 8.6%

This is a particular injustice to the Ranger class that never even had a 2H weapon before. Most are not likely to change any time soon even if they want to. It will take quite some time to get a Siege bow (2h) with better DPS than their existing bow. Speaking for myself alone I can state absolutely that I have no intention of ever switching to a 2h bow on my RA's. My DK's and SW's; well maybe.

This idea sets a new high water mark for clueless dev's who have no idea what gameplay is like for real players.

Imagine ... if there are changes to weapons (rebalancing) in the future ... and you would want to switch from 2H to 1H again ... you won't be able to use your runes :D
No thanx ... Royal sapphire is a Royal sapphire ... it is a investment from the time I started playing the game and they can be used with speed runes too XD

Yeah, looks like I will be sticking with my 3x royal and 1 sacred for now. Kinda bummed about this tho. I was hoping for a reasonable exchange so I could put some big onyx into play. Oh well, I guess devs will be devs. No amount of noise will wake them from their dream world

Also I did notice that the 2 types of runes would lock in a weapon choice. This did not bother me too much since I was not planning on getting any. Wep dec is already full of rage jewels now. Still using my old faithful exo longbow and my current attack speed qualifies as 'good enuf' :D

What do flawless, sacred and royal sapphires turn into (in terms of rune speed values)?

it is very bogus that they can't be converted into something useful for 1H players

This is compete nonsense, totally unfair, meaningless and unacceptable. Some basic principles of exchange should be the following:

    1. Player with a gem should be able to decide an output. In other words, output should not be driven by quality of a gem but player's desicion.
    2. Conversion should be free.
    3. Different quality gems should produce defferent quality or quantity of runes.
    4. Higher quality gems should result in more flexible runes in terms of placement, not the opposite.
    5. There has to be gem breakdown, so those with 1 royal and those with 3 sacred have identical flexibility during exchange.

Dev, just add some common sense into your ideas.

And exactly because of some of the reasons posted above, I'd rather keep my nooby sapphires until the very last moment possible, this exchange looks shady to say the least. I haven't had the time to sit down and analyze it, but I do trust some of you, so it's a no-no for now, I'll elaborate on my feedback as this develops...

I find myself wishing I knew they were going to do this about 3 months ago. I'd have bought 5x radiant sapphires for 67500. Then I'd buy 70 refiners for 1050 andermant and convert them. I'd have a full set of maxed out new runes to put in my adornment for a little less than 70k andermant, but they'd be worth 450 clovers. Tell me... do you think that 450 clovers are worth 70k andermant?

Its looking im not taking much of a hit, as I have 5 flawless and 5 radiants on one guy and 5 flawless on the other. But i think i would be annoyed if the royaos and sacreds are worth the same as a flawless....

Not sure if the image is right, but flawless sapphire being worse than radiant is an absurd. It is 3 times the price of radiant, yet it will convert into the same 8%, and for 2h only... I cant even imagine what they are smoking...

Yeah, 1H bow & quiver/shield rangers (practically every ranger) with flawless and higher sapphires are really getting screwed here, compared to one that was lucky enough to only have radiants or lower. Even other players that are 1H are going to be forced into 2H if their sapphires are too good.

There either needs to be a mechanism to break up sapphires so that you can get something usable as a 1H player, or the idea of 2H only speed runes needs to be scrapped.

Woe is me..merging all my sapphires into 1 royal only to get 16% rune...
    Oh why couldn't I just leave my 3 sacreds alone...would've been 36% speed :( :(

In case this going to be adapt in live server, I'm satisfy with this price since clover is hard to earn and we DKs are now lack of crit rate when we reach 55.

I can not stand down quite on this one.

Assuming Grand Celerity is fix for 2h only for future.

I would prefer there is mechanism(auto or manual) to break flawless Sapphire or stronger into Radiant gems.
So I can decide what to do with the 8% 1h/2/adornment runes.
I think there are still ways to make this conversion as fair as possible to get win-win solution.

Win-win condition must meet BP & Players perspective.
Regarding this rafine system, can we as community make a strong suggestion or protest act, such as what community did with pinata bug abuse?

This is EDIT . I have no other words to say about this conversion.
If you really want a conversion, then the only fair way to convert is to convert all sapphires into flawed sapphires with the amount of which is needed to create one. For example, for each Polished Sapphire, you will get 81 flawed sapphires in your inventory and so on.

Then the sapphire converter will exchange different types of "Runes of Celerity" for different amounts of flawed sapphires. This is the only way I can see that it would be fair for the players.

The solution is very simple. There should be "Sapphire Breaker" and this whole breaking process should be FREE of charge.
We should decide on our own ... whether we would break the sapphires ... convert them into runes (and if we do convert them we decide in what rune they should be converted) ... or we should be still using them.

First of all there is 2 types of 8% rune i think this is so sily, why not just one type of runes from 2% to 8% speed that can be put on all 3 type of equipment and higher than 8% you can craft or gain runes that can fit only in 2h is so simple.

I think a faire trade can be:

    8.6 %= 1x6% + 2x2%
    11%=1x8%+1x4%
14%= 2x8% that is one of the most expensive gems in the game and deserve 2x8%(i dont have such gems)

I think this is the most simple way to give a faire exchange.
Dont put exchange restriction against players that put some money in this game, this is not wise.
Please reconsider, is enough that you reset the entire game with this extension an with that you have throw away allot of time and money invested in this game by your customers, dont make another mistake.
LE := Trakilaki solution also very nice and.more versatile than mine but i think they will not consider because is no money involved.

I did recommend leaving them alone... But do people listen?

Here is my next recommendation. Unless you have a bunch of small sapphires that were sitting around in gem holders, don't make a serious mistake and convert your sapphires to the new runes, no matter if you play 2H or 1H.

    Here's why:
I have 3x Royal and 2x Sacred. I could use all of them in my decoration and have 64% speed. Then, I could use 5x of the 8% runes in my weapon (once I manage to farm the clovers) and I'll have another 40% from that. Then, down the road, I could get 5x of the 4% runes for some more clovers for another 20%. Total, I'd be able to reach 124% attack speed after I farm another 106 clovers (I have 4 at the moment and one 8% 2H rune). If I were stupid enough to convert my high tier gems, I'd end up with 72% speed from them and with those 106 clovers, I'd only be able to get up to about 92% and about half way to 96%. There is no way I'm taking a potential hit of 28%-32% attack speed down the road because the developers are clueless. And further down the road, as I'm able to farm even more clovers, that gap will get even bigger. With maxed out runes, I will always be able to reach speeds of at least 64% higher than someone who converted their top tier sapphires. Sure, I may want to sub in onyxes from time to time, but it will be my choice and I'll have flexibility that those who convert won't have.
