Release 137 & Patchnotes

    Release 137 will probably go live tomorrow, the 28th of October, or on Wednesday, the 29th of October. The exact time will be announced as soon as possible.

    In Short
    The motto of release 137 is “unity in diversity”, this release adds alternative attack sequences for all archetypes. Your characters will now execute a number of skills with alternative movements. Furthermore, when customizing or creating a character you can now choose from different ethnicities, more hairstyles and beards for male characters.

    Changes
    Reduced Number of Blacksmiths in Kingshill

    NPC Brandon, the weapon smith, will no longer offer weapons. NPC Vivian, the armor artisan, is now not only offering protective gear but also one-handed weapons, two-handed weapons and shields.

    Character Creation: Ethnicities, Hairstyles, Beards
    When creating a new character or customizing an existing character you can now choose from different skin colors under a label called “Ethnicity”. In addition, a number of new hairstyles have been added and male characters can choose from a selection of beards.

    Character Selection/Creation: Rotation of Character
    It is now possible to rotate the character by dragging it in the character creation and selection screens as well as in the inventory. For the character creation and selection screen we also added buttons to rotate the character

    Alternative Attack Sequences for Characters
    All archetypes have been given alternative attack sequences to make them appear more lively. Characters aren’t repeating the same movement anymore whenever they attack, instead you will notice that they will hold and wield their weapon differently when executing a skill.

    Hint Window Highlighting - Blinking Buttons
    User interface elements, for example buttons that are introduced during the game entry, will blink as soon as a notification window introduces them.

    Selected Bugfixes
    Compare Item: Automatically Updated Information

    The tooltip of an unidentified item would not refresh automatically whenever an unidentified item was identified while using the item comparison feature.

    Missing Quest Objects
    A bug was fixed that caused quest objects to be only obtainable by one player per map.

    Sinkhole Atlantis Above Water
    A spot that would allow your character to sink into the ground was fixed for the map Atlantis Above Water.

    Double Ladder, Kobold
    The Kobold in the Parallel World dungeon Liar’s Lair had two ladders, one was erased.

    MAC: Item Dyes Not Visible
    A bug was fixed that displayed items uncolored although dyes had been applied on them.

    Items in Overflow Inventory Not Moving Up
    Whenever inventory slots would become available after crafting (slots where previously occupied by items that have now been used up at the workbench), items which were stored in the overflow inventory would not automatically move up.​

    Hello Heroes,

    After careful consideration, the Game Team has decided to skip release 137 and instead concentrate on testing R138 and getting that ready to go out the door probably next week. The main reason is that we don’t want to do anything that could potential adversely affect our Halloween event.

    The features from 137 won’t disappear, they’ll just be released along with those in 138.
